About me

I have been a journalist since 1998. I work in German and English. Since 2005, I have been working for Austrian public radio ORF in Vienna.  I cover Austrian business news and am also very interested in Central and Eastern Europe. Before I joined ORF in 2005, I was a print journalist, first in London then in Vienna. In London, I worked for Bloomberg News and a Financial Times website that is no longer, called FTMarketWatch.com. In Vienna, I wrote for several newspapers, mostly Der Standard and Die Presse. I also wrote a few articles for The International Herald Tribune and The Financial Times. I studied International Relations at Boston University (BA, 1996) and Political Economy of Transition in Europe at the London School of Economics (MSc, 1997). I love travelling, photography, Latin and African dance, rowing, skiing, hiking, good books and funk and soul music.

I also represent the LSE Alumni Association in Vienna.
